RETURN & warranty POLICIES
PARTS RETURN POLICY
- A parts return request can be initiated by contacting any Ziegler Inc. location via phone, email, or in-person.
- This policy applies to all parts orders, whether placed in-person and through ecommerce applications.
- Ziegler store specific merchandise return policy is located at https://zieglerstore.com/policies/refund-policy
- Shipments of returned parts must be prepaid to a Ziegler Inc. branch location.
- Ziegler Inc. does not reimburse for the original shipping charges.
- Returns to a drop box are not accepted as returned.
- Parts returned must be in original packaging and in new saleable condition;
- ACCOMPANIED by an invoice, packing list, or document number AND RETURNED WITHIN 30 DAYS of invoice date:
- STOCKED parts will receive full credit.
- NON-STOCKED parts will be assessed a handling charge of 15%.
- ACCOMPANIED by an invoice, packing list, or document number AND KEPT BEYOND 30 DAYS of invoice date:
- STOCKED parts will be assessed a handling charge of 15%.
- NON-STOCKED parts will not be taken back.
- WITHOUT an invoice, packing list, or document number OR KEPT BEYOND 90 DAYS of invoice date:
- STOCKED parts will only be refunded 50% of the original value.
- NON-STOCKED parts will not be taken back.
- ACCOMPANIED by an invoice, packing list, or document number AND RETURNED WITHIN 30 DAYS of invoice date:
- Any returns KEPT BEYOND 180 DAYS of the invoice date: must be pre-approved by the Branch Parts Supervisor. Credit will be on a negotiated basis.
- Upon receipt and acceptance of returned parts, credits are typically issued within 48 business hours from the time of submission.
- The following parts are NON-RETURNABLE to Ziegler Inc.:
- Custom or made as ordered parts
- Glass
- Hydraulic hoses
- Damaged parts or parts with finished surfaces which are rusty or show signs of deterioration in quality.
- Parts showing signs of having been installed on or removed from equipment.
- Electrical items, if previously installed.
- Items such as gasket groups with broken seals or packages.
- Sealed parts kits which have been opened.
- Material cut to order, such as, but not limited to; hose, copper tubing, weather stripping, battery cable.
- Parts purchased in package quantity will not be accepted for return of less than package quantity.
- Parts submitted for return after their expiration date, such as, but not limited to; decals, chemicals, seatbelts.
- EXCHANGE CORES, which must be complete, genuine OEM and rebuildable, must be returned WITHIN 30 DAYS or they will be declared non-returnable.
Warranty policy
- All parts purchased on a sales order are subject to the warranty terms (including limitations and exclusions of warranties and limitations of remedies) set forth in the Warranty Statements available upon request.
- Parts returned for Warranty consideration MUST include a model and serial number, hours or miles, invoice number for the purchase of the part and a brief explanation of the failure.
- Parts credit will be applied to the account initially invoiced after the vendor has approved the claim of warranty.
