Safety Update: Heavy Parts Now Picked Up at Your Branch

Starting February 1, 2026, we are making a simple but important change to how we deliver heavy parts, and it is all about keeping people safe.

Right now, some larger items get dropped off at customer drop boxes. While that is convenient, anything over 50 lbs. can be tough and sometimes risky to lift without the right tools. To avoid injuries and make sure these heavier items are handled properly, we are updating our policy.

Beginning February 1, parts that weigh more than 50 lbs. will no longer be delivered to drop boxes. Instead, you will pick them up at your nearest Ziegler branch. It is a quick stop, and our teams will have the equipment needed to move heavier items safely. There are a handful of drop box locations that already have proper lifting tools. Those spots will remain exceptions, and your parts team can let you know if your usual drop box is one of them.

As we roll out this update, we appreciate your understanding and partnership. While it may alter how a portion of deliveries are handled, the result is a safer, more reliable process that keeps people protected and heavy parts handled the right way.

If you have questions or need assistance with pickup, please contact your local Ziegler branch. Thank you for working with us as we take another step toward improving safety and service for all.
