Parts and Service when promised — or we pay.

As part of our Services Commitment in a CVA, your maintenance and common repair parts will be available when you need them. If they’re not, we’ll help cover costs by giving you a Cat® Prepaid Credit for the value of the late parts, up to $1,000. Below, find answers to frequently asked questions regarding the CVA Services Commitment.

Who is eligible?
• Customers with Ziegler Performed or Loyalty CVA agreements effective January 1, 2026 or later, registered in Caterpillar’s Foresight system.
• Applies to GCI/BCP machines for CI customers.
• Excludes: EP products, ASSCs, Work-Tool repairs, and Ziegler Basic CVAs.
• Service guarantee applies only within Ziegler’s service territory.
What is the Parts Guarantee?

• Coverage: Common Repair Parts
• Commitment: If we don’t make your parts available by the next business day (after 5 PM CT), you receive Cat Credits up to $1,000.
• Credits:

Issued within 1 month, valid for 2 years..
Use for parts, service, work tools, rentals—not new machine sales.
What is the Service Guarantee?

• Coverage: Common Repairs preventing production.
• Commitment: Repairs completed within 48 hours (or agreed timeframe) after authorization.
• If We Miss It: You receive $1,000 Cat Credit (parts or service credit per work order).
• Loaner Machines: Available for select models (SSL, CTL, MTL, MHEX, CWL, SWL, TELE, BHL) at discounted rental rates. Customer covers fuel, insurance, and transport.

What is the Annual TA Inspection?

• What is it? An in-depth health check of your machine by a certified Ziegler technician.
• When? Must be completed November through April for no-charge service.
• Flexibility: Ziegler may approve inspections outside the November–April window at its discretion.
• Where? Bring your machine to a Ziegler shop location for free inspection.

Field service is available, but additional charges apply.

 

What is the First-Time Fix Guarantee?

• Commitment: If our field service technician cannot fix your machine on the first trip, Ziegler covers all remaining mileage charges for follow-up visits.
• Goal: Minimize your cost and downtime when repairs require multiple trips.

When will credit be issued?

• If your eligible parts order for your CVA machine is not fulfilled within the committed timeframe, you will receive a credit through Cat Financial for the value of the delayed parts, up to $1,000.
• Delivery: Issued as a digital prepaid card sent to your email address within 6–8 weeks after the delay is confirmed.
• Usage: Valid for parts, service, work tools, and rentals—not for new machine purchases.

How can I use my credit?
• Once credit has been delivered, it must be used by the expiration date listed in the credit award email.
• Your Cat Prepaid Credit can be used to purchase parts, services, sales, rentals, and work tools from Ziegler CAT or another Cat dealer.
• Other Terms: Credit cannot be redeemed for cash or cash equivalent. Full terms and conditions are available at cat.com/catcardrewards.
• Restrictions:

Cannot be used to purchase new machines..
Cannot be applied toward balances with Caterpillar Financial.
Cannot be used on parts.cat.com or shop.cat.com.
