Ziegler CAT is expanding its facility in Sioux City, Iowa, at 5300 Harbor Drive. The expanded facility will continue serving both the construction and agricultural markets, only on a larger scale, improving Ziegler’s offering of new and used equipment, service, parts, rental tools, and technology support for customers in western Iowa.

Ziegler is adding 19,000 sq. ft. of shop space and 5,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space, bringing the total square footage of the building up to 54,000. The facility currently employs over 40 people, and Ziegler has plans to hire 10 to 20 more in the next few years.

“We’re expanding our presence in Sioux City because our business in the area continues to grow,” says Ziegler Chairman and CEO William Hoeft. “The expansion will help us provide a higher level of service to both our construction and agricultural customers.”

Ziegler sells and services the full line of Cat construction equipment, including compact, mid-size, and heavy equipment, along with a wide selection of rental tools and equipment. In addition, Ziegler offers a complete line of new and used agricultural equipment, including Challenger® tractors and hay equipment, LEXION® combines, White Planters, Sunflower® tillage equipment, and RoGator®, TerraGator®, and SpraCoupe® application equipment. An overnight shuttle system already connects the Sioux City store with Ziegler’s 20 other locations, providing customers with a unique array of products, parts, and services.
