
Construction is well under way in Sheldon
Ziegler CAT to Open New Facility in Sheldon, Iowa
Ziegler CAT has entered into an agreement with the city of Sheldon, Iowa, to purchase land and build a new facility in the Crossroads Industrial Park. When completed, the building will serve the construction and agricultural markets, providing new and used equipment, service, parts, and technology support for Ziegler customers in Northwest Iowa. The facility is epected to open this May.
The facility will have roughly 20,000 sq. ft. of space, including a parts warehouse, offices, a full-service shop, and field service capabilities. Ziegler plans to eventually employ 18 – 25 people at the Sheldon facility.
The new location will sell and service the full line of CAT® compact and heavy construction equipment, the new vocational truck, and generators. A complete line of new and used agricultural equipment will also be offered, including Challenger® tractors; LEXION® combines; RoGator®, TerraGator®, and SpraCoupe® application equipment; White Planters; and Sunflower® tillage equipment. An overnight shuttle system will connect the Sheldon facility with Ziegler’s 22 other locations in Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin, providing customers with an unmatched array of products, parts, and services.
