Ziegler CAT is pleased to announce the opening of a new full service facility in Atlantic, Iowa, on September 20, 2010, offering sales, rental, parts, service, and technology support for a full line of agricultural and construction equipment. Four field-service trucks and technicians will also provide service on local farms and construction sites.
 

The 15,000 sq. ft. facility will have five service bays, a large parts inventory, and hydraulic hose building capabilities. It will employ 12 people upon opening, with plans to expand. It will offer the complete line of new and used agricultural equipment, including Challenger tractors, LEXION combines, RoGators, Spra-Coupes, White Planters, and Sunflower tillage equipment.

The facility will have a selection of new and used CAT® compact and heavy construction equipment. Trimble and Ag Leader technology solutions for both ag and construction will also be available. An overnight shuttle system will connect the Atlantic store with Ziegler’s 20 other locations, providing customers with a full array of products, services, and rental equipment.

The city of Atlantic also played a role in bringing the new facility into the area. “We’re excited to have Ziegler coming to our community,” said Dave Jones, mayor of Atlantic. “Having a business of this caliber will be a big win for the city, and we believe it will be a big win for Ziegler too.”
