For Prospective Technicians: Our service technicians are a critical link between our company and the customers we serve; we want the best and brightest to share in our service efforts. Fulfilling that goal includes providing internship and scholarship opportunities for students interested in pursuing careers in diesel or heavy equipment mechanics through our partner colleges.
We select a handful of the most dedicated students and offer them real world opportunities to practice and sharpen their skills and prepare for a successful career upon graduation. Selected students receive the chance to learn while working alongside the best technicians in the trade, on the best technology in the industry.
For Technicians: Ziegler technicians are the best in the trade because they receive ongoing training – advancing their troubleshooting, technical, and communication skills to provide our customers with unparalleled service. In addition to ongoing, day-to-day education and mentoring, Ziegler provides up to two weeks of formal, on-site training per year, keeping our technicians up-to-date on new product offerings and emerging technologies.
Multiple technical classes are available to meet the needs of each individual regardless of position or level of experience. Training includes systems operation, testing, and adjustment of the machines we sell and service. This year, our technicians will choose from over 120 technical training classes, covering more than 30 different subject areas! This is just one of many reasons our technicians want to stay part of the Ziegler team.
