If your survey controller system is already covered by warranty or extended warranty, the upgrade to SCS900 does not affect the warranty in any way.

If your Survey Controller is out of warranty, the upgrade to SCS900 does not provide you with any additional warranty coverage.

Your SCS900 software upgrade is covered for 1 year from the date of purchase for .1 and .01 version upgrades only.  Version 1.0 upgrades (i.e. significant functionality enhancements) are not covered by warranty.

To maintain your warranty on hardware and software, at the next renewal date for the hardware warranty, you will need to take out the SCS900 / survey controller combined hardware and software warranty, or the SCS900 and hardware only warranty, whichever suits your requirements at that time.
