The receivers and antenna on the cab collect positioning data from satellites and an off-board GPS base station. The GPS receiver computes the exact position of the GPS antennas many times per second. The system calculates the position of the blade relative to the design plan with centimeter-level accuracy. The operator looks at an in-cab display in plan view, cross-section view, or text and a light bar display. The operator can choose to control the blade manually or can choose to let the system control the blade.
When combined with an advanced tracking sensor, the grading accuracy narrows to plus or minus 5 millimeters, for precise finished grade work.
You make the grade faster, more accurately with less operator fatigue.
