A: Trimble SC900, version 1.0, is designed to meet the needs of the site development contractor. At this point, staking out roads relies onprepared linework and points, or an accurate surface model representation. Alignments containing straight or arc elements only can provide stationing. Support for station equations, spirals, or template models is not provided at this time. Stakeout data must be prepared within PC-based office software - ability to key in a road is not possible.
