GCS300 Grade Control System
Laser-controlled blade elevation
|
- Single control system
- Leverage the LR410 laser receiver to control the lift of the machine blade
- Push button benching for fast daily set-up
- Control elevation offset with the push of a button
- Move from one elevation to the next level without resetting the laser transmitter
- Ideal solution for smaller construction projects
- Fully linear laser receiver (LR410) smoothes corrections the full length of the receiver
- Laser receiver mounts to a mast on the blade and connects to the machine hydraulics
- Controls to an accuracy of 3.6 millimeters (0.01 to 0.05 feet)
- Auto mode or indicator mode
- Excellent first investment and low-cost entry into grade-control systems
- Upgrades easily as your needs grow

GCS400 Grade Control System
Laser-controlled blade elevation
and tilt |
- Includes all the features of GCS300 plus:
- Dual-control system — control both lift and tilt of the machine blade
- Use two LR410 laser receivers or one LR410 and an AS411 slope sensor
- Linked mode connects lift and tilt and displays them as a single control
- Control material more accurately, especially across larger job sites
|
| Cat® AccuGrade Laser Control System |
- In-factory installation
- Single or dual control for lift and tilt of machine blade, depending on system configuration
- Controller area network (CAN) technology allows you to easily add or remove components depending on the application
- Backlit LCD grade display adjusts to light to ensure comfortable viewing
- Built-in beeper signals grade errors, switch activation, and system health
- Selectable manual or automatic mode
- One-button benching enables fast, accurate calibration of blade
- Linked elevation connecting lift and tilt function simplifies operation and reduces errors
- Adjustable blade elevation offset controls both lift and tilt in sync
- Safety interlock disengages the system if the machine is in park or neutral (otherwise the health of the system is at risk )
- Digital, linear laser receivers (LR400) mount on electric masts
- Adjustable machine mounted masts ensure unobstructed laser reception
- Operator can raise or lower the masts from inside the cab for precise positioning
- Operator can raise or lower each mast separately

3D Grade Control Streamlines the Job
Combine grading, surveying, and design into one process and replace stakes and string lines with digital data. Three-dimensional grade control compares the coordinates of the machine blade to a preloaded digital terrain model, calculates elevation and cross-slope, and automatically moves the blade to the correct cut or fill position. You can see real-time grade and slope information along with blade position on the cab display.
